RE: Mods-Where To Start
I moved your post to its own thread in a more appropriate forum. The forum you originally posted in was a "How-To Post Pictures" thread.
There are plenty of people on here that will be able to give you some great mod ideas. _________________________________ Brad "Textbooks teach how to think in-the-box, the real world teaches how to think outside-the-box."

Alberto, depending on what characteristics you are looking for, is where you would want to start. Be it handling, engine performance, exterior enhancements, etc. When I mod my cars, I start slow. Experiment. Most mods dont really do much for performance, after years of racing and building race cars. Sure that new air intake looks nice, but does it enhance the perf of the vehicle? Most parts actually rob HP, than enhance it. I went through 3 intakes on my Subaru Impreza before I found one that gave me the torque I needed for Auto-x. Do you want low-end torque, mid-range (hwy), or top end. So you may have to do a little research. My 2 cents. Forrest |

RE: Mods-Where To Start
I would agree with that too. Take your time and see how others mod their cars, some ideas may work for you and other ideas may not be desireable. You can spend lots of time reading from this site and others to see the goods and bads that modifications can bring.
But a car that reflects your ideas and makes driving more enjoyable is what is all about. Sometimes the search and the wait is part of the fun that I enjoy. My list of mods for my Koup keeps growing each month since more items are becoming available for our cars. I like to list my ideas, then review them before making the changes just to be sure. I have another car that I've been trying to figure out which type of rims to put on now for 17 years, only to find out that months later the style I thought was good was actually goofy looking. But I still enjoy the search. Good luck. Forte Koup SX Ebony Black on Black 6-Speed MT, K&N Filters, Moroso Spiral Flow Muffler All options, Tinted & K-Badges

RE: Mods-Where To Start
Alberto F. Bautista...how about some info on your Koup? What engine and tranny combo did you get? 1.6, 2.0, or 2.4 engine; 4, 5, or 6 speed auto tranny; 5 or 6 spd manual tranny?
Throughout this forum are mods people have done...enjoy searching through all the threads to get an idea of what you want. I like my Kias with their 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty! |
