2011 EX and SX Colors
I was >this close< to buying today, but have decided to wait till next year when my financial situation is better.

Saw a Dark Cherry EX that I >LOVE<. Brown leather interior. Just gorgeous! However, I'll probably spring for an SX since I'll be doing lots of highway miles and want the extra power for passing and hilly driving.

Does anyone know if Dark Cherry will be available for the '11 SX models? Looks like it is not available on the '10 SX trim level. A shame... because it is a beautiful color in the sun.

Thanks,

Mike

I don't think so...I'm attaching a 2011 Koup document -- doesn't list dark cherry in the color codes!

.pdf  11 Forte Koup Codes v5[1].pdf (Size: 20.54 KB / Downloads: 17)

Let's hope this isn't accurate and that more colors will be available...

I like my Kias with their 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty!

RE: 2011 EX and SX Colors
Thank you. Now, I did notice these are colors for the Koupe. I'm looking at sedans only. If the sedan colors are similar, shame on Kia for discontinuing Dark Cherry... and for not offering it on the SX. This surely does not leave us with many color choices... that Dark Cherry, with either brown or black interior, makes the Forte feel like a really upscale car. On an SX, Dark Cherry would create an awesome total package. That's a car that'd keep me happy for the next 10 years (I tend to buy a new car every 9-10 years.)

Wait, are you wanting to get a sedan...? b/c the Koup has NEVER offered cherry red as an option of color.... I'm pretty sure I've seen cherry red SXs here in my state...

Oops...sorry, I opened this thread from the "View today's Posts" section and didn't realize it was in the sedan forum! I don't have the info on the sedans -- let's hope Kia offers more colors on them!

My girlfriend just got a 2011 Forte Ex 4dr in Dark Cherry. The interior is called coffee. While it's not leather, it is sweet! We're not much for leather. Gets too hot during the Florida Summers.

Spicey red is a different color when compared to dark cherry red.

Definitely different, but both are definitely nice!
