Sunroof sunshade sliding around while driving.

Smile Sunroof sunshade sliding around while driving.
Hello everyone. Just bought(well 3 weeks ago anyway)a brand new 2010 Forte sx sedan. So far I absolutely love it! Just 1 minor irratation though. The sunshade(the one that is slid open and closed manually to block out all light) slides 1/4 to 1/2 way shut on its own while driving around. It seems I'm constantly pushing it back to the open position. Of course this only is happening with the glass sunroof itself closed. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening would be appreciated. And really this a minor frustration. I will live with it if I have to. I do really love this car.

You have a warranty. Use it while you can.

Thanks for the response. I think it's a design issue, but haven't seen anyone post anything about the same problem, so I don't know. I actually did briefly talk to the service department at the dealer where I purchased my car, but they kind of had a blank look on their face. I may push the issue harder next time. Thanks again.

Defintely push the issue. I was forced to slam on my brakes once while I had my Koup, and my sunshade slammed shut. I'm guessing, but there may be something in the sunshade track that can be adjusted (bent) to add friction to the opening / closing process so it will stop doing it by itself. Make your dealership fix it.
