new alarm transmitter not opening my trunk
I just had a new alarm installed on my 2010 Koup SX. The store where I purchased the alarm and had it installed said they couldn't find the wire for the trunk release even though they downloaded the wiring schematics for the 2010 and 2011 so I am unable to open my trunk with my new alarm transmitter. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know the location of the wire for the trunk release? Thank you in advance!

Check the wiring diagrams in the service manual at Kia's Global Information site. It's free for owners.
