AUTO /6SPEED TRANS
IM NEW TO THE FORUM BUT HAVE A BIG INTEREST IN THE SX 2011 FORTE..I NOTICED THAT WHEN IM USEING THE 6 SPEED SHIFTER,IF I TAKE LETS SAY 1ST. PAST 5500 RPM THAT IT WON'T LET ME GET 2ND,IT WILL JUMP TO 3RD OR SUM TIMES 4TH.IS THERE A REV LIMITER ON IT THAT PROVENTS THE TRANY FROM GETING EACH GEAR,AND IF SO CAN THE SHIFT POINT BE CHANGED.???

Yes, there is prevention built into the software so you don't destroy your engine/tranny. Lose the caps lock. Anytime you capitalize all your letters, THAT MEANS YOU ARE YELLING! _________________________________ Brad "Textbooks teach how to think in-the-box, the real world teaches how to think outside-the-box."

RE: AUTO /6SPEED TRANS
I wish I could change the shift point of 3rd gear to 6k. When I'm on the highway and want to jam on the gas to pass someone it drops to third but won't go past 5500rpm. It drives me crazy because it doesn't even sound like it's trying and takes forever to get going. It sounds like it's got plenty of room to go before having to worry. Then again this is the 1st 6sp i've ever had.
