Door Glass
I bought my KIA in September and have loved it since the day I brought it home. This past weekend, I was driving home and the glass on the passenger door on the driver's side of the car just spotaneously shattered. I was on a smoothly paved road with no traffic and no rocks etc. I am certain that nothing hit it. Has anyone else ever experienced such a thing? My KIA dealer, who was great up to this point refused to repair it under warranty. In fact, they were kind of rude when I inquired about them fixing it. The car is two months old and I am not real happy with the service department at my local dealer. Any suggestions???? I have since rented a car for two days, ($60) and paid for new door glass ($279)

RE: Door Glass
SEE POST ABOVE:
Well, a lot can be said for my local KIA dealer. I wrote them a letter expressing my dissatisfaction in regard to the way they handled my broken glass and just today I received a call from the service manager and after a short, pleasant, conversation, they agreed to pay for the glass and the rental car. He said that KIA would not pay for it, but their dealership would. Taylor KIA in Boardman Ohio really does back up their promise to treat you like family!!!!
