I was interested in the complete shifter bushings kit for the Forte. I am only concerned about the installation. What does it entail? Removal of tranny or any other key components?

Very simple install actually that does not entail removing of the transmission. You will be basically removing the center console to reveal the shifter to gain access to the bushings located between the shifter assembly and the floor.

Next for the cable bushings they are located on the transmission cables ontop of the transmission. A DIY is supplied when purchased.
