A/C LIGHT ON?

I just bought my Forte EX Sedan in January, and I live in Michigan, so I use the heat a lot. For the past couple days any time I turn on the heat, the green A/C light/button turns on, without me hitting it?

Anyone else having this same problem?

Venture a wild guess without the owner\'s manual in front of me. Do you have \"defrost\" selected? If the insides of one\'s windshield fog up, dry heat from the A/C will cure it in no time. Might be one of those kinky little Kia automations that they\'ve apparently programmed into the environmental control logic.

it automatically turns on on defrost mode... service manager told me that

most auto mfr\'s do it... i had a 2010 Corolla that did it too
