Please Help!

I have the mirror with the compass and homelink in my Koup. I looked closely at the mirror and see that the temperature scale or whatever you call it is there but all it ever shows is the compass. Are they there just because of basic or general factory components or can our mirrors actually display the temperature instead of just the compass? Also, is the middle knob of the heating and cooling system supposed to light up from behind like on the radio or no? Mine isn't lighthing up and I have a feeling it is supposed to. Thanks for any help!

would seem your car is canadian. take it to your dealership. they'll know for sure

Canadian? Really? Hmm.....well, I live in Central New York, but the dealer located the car for me in New Jersey because I wanted the black SX, 6-speed Koup and there weren't any in our state. I could take it to the dealer I guess. I am guessing your mirror displays the temperature then?

my bad, i thought you said it had auto climate control.. no, those are NOT backlit, and the mirror has the compass only
