gear box issues

Hi guys, i have a 2010 2.0l 5 speed manual Koup and am having issues when changing into second gear, quite often its stiff or very clunky, My Kia Dealer says its normal but i dont think so. Does anyone else have the same issue and is there a fix for it.

I really hate it when they say "It's normal". If it was normal, all manual transmissions would do it. It sounds like a synchro issue. Do you have the option of going to another Kia dealer?

Unfortunately not , not many Kia dealerships in new Zealand but I'll keep pushing my dealer

Tell them if they don't fix it, you'll have your friend Richie McCaw come put some hurt on them!

i havent had too much trouble with it. all my gears have a "firm" feel when you change gears...
