Cheap and Quick Cold Air Intake Install

Cheap and Quick Cold Air Intake Install
Very quick and easy. Total cost about $25. Total time 15 minutes.

Needed:
Phillips screwdriver.
Cone Filter with Internal diameter 76mm.
Large Cable Ties.
Hard Nylon or steel tube 70mm Outside Diameter(Optional)

   
Completed Installation
   
Secure filter with ties to bas of air intake box.
   
Use spacer on inside of original tube for support when tightening the cone filter.

I would call that a semi-CAI or a hybrid SRI/CAI since there is still going to be heat from the engine unless you seal the filter into the box so that only the air from the box is used.

Yeah you probably right, best to buy a filter with a heatshield. That may help.

does this actually work??
is there any site or place in so cal where i can get cheap mods for this car?

also...concerning modding..i was told at the dealership that if i mod my car
it doesn't automatically void the warranty UNLESS that the reason of malfunction is the modded piece...
is that true??
