Don't forget to also look at the other parts we have available for the Forte:

Base Bushings
These bushings replace the stock rubber bushings connecting the shifter assembly to the floor of the car. They provide a much more solid shift feeling by removing the play of the stock bushings. When bought in combo with the Forte Short Shifter, they are only $19.95!

Cable Bushings
The cable bushings replace the soft rubber bushings at the transmission end of the shifter cables. By replacing the stock unit with TWM's bronzoil bushings, the precision of the shifter is drastically improved. When bought in combo with the short shifter, they are only $27.95!

Mandatory if I was building a track car. But since I'm just getting back and forth to work I'm gona let it wear a little more. Very nice thought out upgrade product.

Heck it would probably fix a few of my miss-shifts I blow now and then.

Thanks for the feedback guys! We've conducted long term testing with this short shifter before releasing it to the public, and the overall fun factor of the Forte is much more enjoyable with the short shifter installed!

It's actually a very enjoyable mod on a daily driving basis. Think about it, the shifter is one of these parts of the car you use the most in your daily commute, might as well enjoy it every time you shift!
