RE: The clock stopped and won't turn off
Update: Took the Sedan in for it's first oil change and forgot about the clock problem since it hasn't given any problems. Didn't take too long. They gave me a high 5, a slap on the tuccus, and a "Good Game" on the way out. Took the Koup in the next day for it's first oil change and it took quite awhile longer. Afterward they said they took care of the clock as it was recalled. Great, it wasn't even giving me any problems. Two days later i hear, 'Tony, will you fix my clock again?" LoL Yeah it's good to be needed, it also means i get to take another 25mile drive to the dealership next week. While there i guess i'll enjoy a cup of their complementary/horrible coffee and play 'Words with Friends' If you're ever stuck in my situation and wanna play look me up TonyLibations ;-)

RE: The clock stopped and won't turn off
Hey, Just new to this forum. Found it by searching for problem with our new Kia forte5 clock. It also just stopped working, stays on at 6:29 then after 20 minutes of driving it just shuts off. When the car is turned off and on again, the clock comes back on at 1:00 and has changed to farenheit instead of Celcius. Another time when using the remote to open the doors, the clock came on and stayed until the car was driven for 1/2 hour or so. We have already had the cruise control fixed on this car. Cruise sometimes worked and sometimes didnt. This just required an update but still, its a pain to take a brand new car continuously back to the dealer to be repaired. What happened to quality control these days?
