TOP SPEED!!!!!

Hit 145 mph in my koup yesterday, that was at redline (6800 rpm) in 4th gear! the forte's 6 speed manual transmission has very tall gears...when i went to 5th it was still pulling, but i was coming up on traffic so i had to let off unfortunetly, im thinking she had it in her to bury the 155 mph speedo! im very impressed with the power she has!

MODS:
Cat back custom 2.5'' exhaust system w/4.5'' N1 Racing Tip

MODS ON THE WAY:
-2.5'' test pipe (high flow cat)
-JunBL full length headers
-Takada Cold Air Intake
-ECU performance tune (flash programming)
-TSW Short Shift Kit w/460 gram (1.2 Lb) shift knob
-Eibach 2'' Lowering kit
-stage 1 Clutch kit

Looking forward to taking her to the dyno to see what kind of improvements I can get out of her...im hoping for 180 + TO THE WHEELS

Just thought you might have used the Autobaun . You need a good stretch of road for that speed run..

surprisingly she got there within about 2 miles i would say...i used the on ramp as a sling shot and once I entered the highway i was well over 100 mph by then so with in about 1-2 miles I was a 145 before traffic began to come up on me FAST!!!!!!

I give a lot of respect to kia for making such a well made car...im not just saying that because I work for them, but because its a TRUE STATEMENT...NOT AN OPINION!

haha hell yeah man!! and relax AIRPOFF..there were no cars around me when I attempted my top speed run...I slowed down to the speed limit when I began coming up on traffic. I didnt put anyone in danger but myself...its was one hell of an adrinaline rush tho!
