I keep mine aimed down, so they aren\'t in the faces of other drivers. That\'s why I\'m just putting it out there that if you put the LED strips under your lights, it will raise the beam (making them like high beams), and you will need to lower them so you aren\'t an @$$ hole on the road...

RE: Audi-style LED
I do have mine aimed lower, but still get the ocassional flash (and did so without HIDs). Most of the time, it\'s by a jackass driving with fogs on that produce even more glare. I keep a pair of yellow glasses in the car for night driving. That way, people can thow their high-beams up and they don\'t bother me.

RE: Audi-style LED
I just installed mine a few weeks ago. I love the effect. The lights are actually inside the headlight housing so it almost looks like the car came that way. It was a pain to do but totally worth it.

Looks very nice! The pictures probably don't provide the same effect as seeing these lights in person, however. The hard work definitely paid off IMO! Smile
EDIT: Meant this comment at Kiyenne.

I would've written a DIY for interested people, but I had a shop do the installation, since I have no garage, and as you can see from the picture, our weather is a bitch right now. The LEDs cost me about US$4 (shipped). from ebay:

The installation was a hour's labour, which in my case was C$65+tx.

The strips are wired into the parking lamps. They are on whenever the parking lamps are on (with or without led car headlights). They are wedged between the bumper and the led car headlights assembly. It's as if they were designed for this car. The assembly holds them securely in place.

This could've been a $10 project if done in the summer. I think it's much better than the $150 custom LED eyeline from SK or SG, or wherever. Even that mod requires wiring, so I don't see the benefits. LEDs are cheap and that eyeline cannot cost the company more than $15 to manufacture. I'm not paying a 1000% markup + shipping for such a mod.

My phone camera sucks. The lights are way too bright for the camera to handle well. I'll take more pics at my parents' place this weekend.

I always think the led lights are too bright too, but i can not find another one to replace.
