I've been trying to do this on my own and I simply can't. I am trying to add Audi style lights like those attached below. I have decided to install a switch as well. The switch is installed. I have wired up the ground of the switch and the power for the switch. All that is left now is attaching the wiring for the lights. However this is where I ran into trouble. I can't find a spot to go through the fire wall of the engine bay. I have gotten under the dash and felt around with the wires to see where they go through and I can't find it.
If anyone knows where they go through or if there is another way to do this, I would really appreciate it. Its the last step before I install the lights themselves and I'm really anxious to get it done. Thanks in advance.

Look under the hood. You should be able to see where the factory harnesses run through a grommet. There might even be more than one location. It's dark out now, or I would go check it out.

I had a friend come over and we found one behind the glove compartment. Thanks ya'll. I can't believe I was looking around for like 2 hours and as soon as my friend came over we found it. Oh well.
Thanks again.

Looks good michael! i like how you went all the way of the lights... i have seen some pictures where they only did partial way and i was like " uhhhh?" but looks good once you get it wired lets see some more pics...
Dumb question! these DIY audi lights are they just 3m'd to the top of the bumper in between the light? I

Well first, that's not my car.
But I did talk to the guy who did it and will be doing it in the same fashion. They are 3M'ed to the bumper just like you said. I'm using the same kind of LED strip I used for the center console cubby hole thing. I plan on having mine go all the way to the gap between the fender and the bumper. I still need to order my lights, but wanted to do all the wiring first. I'll definately post what I've got so far tomorrow.
