Folder structure and content limit for USB attached device
Proud new owner of a Koup. I have a usb attachable hard drive with a master folder and 30 sub folders. When I cycle through the folders it only handles the first 5 and starts again at the first one.

Had a JVC unit in my old vehicle and noticed it had limits like 999 songs per folder that weren\'t listed in the manual.

Anybody know the limitations on the radio or even who actually makes it and what model it is??

Thanks
Tom

Have you checked the owners manual? I\'ve got like 1200 songs on my iPhone and it works great...different folder structure than your HD though.

I was using my Ipod Nanno 5th generation and because of Apple it never showed the song title etc. I was reading on here to use a zip drive and to change the files from ACC to convert in itunes to mp3 and it now shows title on song etc. Works great

RE: Folder structure and content limit for USB attached device
SO I set up a memory stick with 17 folders and only a couple of tunes in each and it cycled through all 17 properly. This leads me to believe it is a memory capacity problem with how much space is available to store data when it loads the data from the usb port. I guess the next step is to create bigger and bigger volumes of dat auntil it doesn't work properly and then I'll know the limit. It would be easier if they just told me the spec for how many gigs of data it will hold.
