POWER WINDOW SWITCHES

Sorry for this new thread addressing a similar question from an old thread but...

On the Forte EX sedan there are the usual four power window switches on the driver's door. On mine only the LED for the driver's front window switch glows red when car lights are on. The other three switches in the cluster are totally dark although they all have the same white marking. Is this normal or is it something I need to tell the dealer about? Thanks.

While at the dealer for my 6K oil change today I mentioned this problem to the Service Mgr. He started to tell me how it was normal until the guy next to me, another Forte EX owner, said all the lights glowed on his switch cluster.

We all went out and checked and, yep, they all lit up. The mgr. apologized for not knowing better and immediately ordered the part. I'll have it installed tomorrow afternoon if all goes well. I'm glad I made an issue of it.
