can't start the engine

Hello fellow kia forte owner, i got a 2010 kia forte . I experience this twice already, i can't start my engine, the monitor tells me to ``press the brake pedal and start``but it won't start, it just turn the light on and when i press the start button again, it turn off... i notice a some kind of relay switch near the brake pedal. what i did i disconnect the power from a relay kind of switch near the brake pedal and reconnect again, good thing the engine start... anybody experience you can't start your unit?

I'm guessing you have a 6 Speed Manual, correct?

I experience it once in a while...theres a technique how to start the engine when encountering the problem...

BTW, you are right bro,the brake pedal sensor is the problem, needs to change it.
