i live in northern australia its pretty warm most of the time here i have koup with auto climate control(thats how they all come here in aus) and i find it very good, in fact superior to my previous car a mazda 3...maybe kia install a different system in other countries?

It would appear that the people with A/C issues also have the Eco package. The Eco package uses an A/C compressor that is electrically operated, and not by the engine. It also slows and at times shuts off when idling. The first Forte I test drove had the Eco package and it never cooled down during the 30 minute test drive. I asked to drive a Forte without Eco and that was cold in 15 minutes. I also bought that one.

mine's slow to heat up on cold days and fast to cool down on hot days lol
