Auto 5 Speed Shiftng Issue

RE: Auto 5 Speed Shiftng Issue
I test drove an EX and an SX this evening. Pulling out of the parking lot there was a noticable clunk in the tranny with the SX. I mentioned this to the salesman who rode with me and he didn't know anything about it. It's too bad, the SX is very sharp especially the copperhead color but I think the EX with the premium package is also very nice. The 16" alloys are sharp.

Now if I can get a good price. The Estimated Total when I build the car at kia.com is $16,190 with the $1500 rebate but the dealer wants a significant amount more. The dealer's website sucks and I can't tell what car I test drove and what the price is...

RE: Auto 5 Speed Shiftng Issue
Well no progress at all after a service call. Dealer performed a number of recall services and acknowledged rough shift. Performed a "relearn" on the transmission and said no further harsh shifts were noticed. I found no change. Also, the nature of it's occurence has changed to always (from just a warm start)

RE: Auto 5 Speed Shiftng Issue
After a week and a half in the shop, I have a rebuilt transmission in. Nothing has changed, the shift issue feels a little different but is just as bad. I will take the advice from other forum usrs and start with Kia. The dealer was cooperative but nothing has changed.

RE: Auto 5 Speed Shiftng Issue
Just picked it up from another dealer check. They cannot replicate it. The frequency does seem to be less, somehow. Dealer has been proactive, Kia made sure they contacted me. Let's see.
