RE: My new Koup washed and waxed!
The cost of what? The car itself? I paid $16,500.

RE: My new Koup washed and waxed!
I did the wax myself. I went to walmart and paid $20 for Turtle Wax Ice spray on wax, Turtle Wax Ice detailer, and Turtle Wax microfiber towels. The quickest wax I've ever done in my life, took about 20 minutes in total. I should have done another application for extra shine, but I'm happy with the way it looks now. Carnauba is still the best, but I'll never spend 3 hours waxing a car again.

RE: My new Koup washed and waxed!
Looks really good. The turtle wax Ice product line is good for what it is, but it doesn't last long. I noticed that water would quit beading up after only a few weeks. But, as easy as it is to use, it's not a huge deal.

Yup, I plan on washing once-twice a week using the detailer and doing a re-wax once a month.

RE: My new Koup washed and waxed!
That Koup looks lovely after the waxing (silver too, unless I'm confused)
I've discovered a new love for detailing with this car. For some reason I *want* to keep it looking shiny, which is unusual cos I'm a lazy gamer IRL ![]() Now it's AutoGlym, microfiber waffle weave, mitts, 2-bucket-method and tyre dressing! My g/f thinks I've gone OCD bananas. ('Cerato' in ZA) 1.6 EX manual Bright Silver 50% tint |
