Really though body roll? I don't get much body roll in the sedan. That is to say that when I push the car hard enough I can feel it's the tires that are about to lose grip before the body starts to lean too much.

The compound on the Goodyear LS2 seems a bit too hard, and that also contributes to road noise.

idk, maybe I'm just too used to my mazda. It was lowered on Mazdaspeed lowering springs with Koni Yellows set to full stiff and a RSB. I really don't want to lower this car though. I'm tired of worrying about speed bumps and steep inclines
yeah, I probably just havent spent enough time getting used to the car is all. I still wanna get a sway though

I'm just going to come out and say it. Mazda's have a way better suspension setup in the rear compared to us. The 3 has a multi-link independent. We have a Torsion bar suspension and it's never going to be as good. Dollar for dollar in upgrades the multi-link will always come out on top.

It's the price we pay for more interior and trunk space.

RE: best suspension mod?
get the eibach pro kit. it only drops the car an inch in the back, and a little more out front. if you can't figure out how to navigate a low car over bumps and ramps...you shouldn't have a sporty car...period. on top of the lowering springs, a front strut brace, and front lower brace will help with the diving feeling...and if you can sacrifice some trunk space, the rear strut bar, and rear lower brace will make it feel amazing.

i know i plan on buying everything that Roadrace Motorsports has to offer for this car. i'm coming from a 1998 acura integra type r that was an inch from the ground all around...that thing handled like a dream, but again, it was all independent suspension...which will ALWAYS be better than our kia's.
