Power Sunroof - Is it supposed to auto-close??

They do auto open...I can feel the detent in the switch, and when I hit it the sunroofs auto open. Neither of them auto close.

I like my Kias with their 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty!

we were just out of sync...LoL Too many "push it that way and push it this way and detent this and detent that"...LoL

^That's really wierd. I have the second detent both ways. I never have to hold it down to open it or close it. I wonder if it is some kind of regional thing, or you just happened to get two crappy sunroofs..lol.

The manual does say that it's supposed to auto-close, but mine doesn't do it either.

does it sliding to outside when opening? coz mine open's and closes automatically, but my only concern is that it just tilt and slide inside, i want to slide it to outside so as to see that i have sunroof. just to show off like that,

On the sedan if you want to tilt the sunroof up it will not slide back (it stays in place)...if you open the sunroof it doesn't tilt...it slides into a recess in the roof and disappears.

On the Koup the sunroof only tilts when opened -- but it does slide back in the tilt position to open the roof (it doesn't go into a recess).
