RDS on the radio?
I'm constantly bugged by the fact that a new car with so many great technologies, does NOT have RDS. Today I saw that the recent Hyundai hatch (called the I20 here) has a key sequence that allows one to change the parameters and *enable the RDS yourself*

Sooo... has anyone heard of a way to do so on the Forte/Cerato???

Radio Data System. That's where some radios display info about the music being played, like artist and song title.

RE: RDS on the radio?
It shows radio station names and also allows one to activate a "Traffic Announcement" function, so that the radio automatically switches to the selected station when they do their traffic reports. That's a pretty useful function, which even my 8-year old Pioneer radio/cd did. I tried the suggested sequence and it shows the firmware (1.01), but doesn't support any RDS sadly

I was messing around with mine tonight and i found that if i hold the 1 and 4 key for about 2 seconds and press the 1 key 4 times quickly followed by the 6 key it allows me to select different areas/ setups using the tuning knob.... example canada/usa has like 4 different versions some with bluetooth profiles... one with usb and bluetooth... sat. radio ext. funny thing i noticed about this is my sat. radio subscription is expired but after changing these settings to see whats different and finaly putting them back to the original my sat. radio is working.... can anyone else confirm this?
