New around here...
Hey guys, new around here so I apologize if I am breaking any rules. Just found this and was hoping to see if anyone had information on the option for leather. My dealer cant find one but can get it done. But the package comes with heated seats and de-icer??? Did this happen to others? Did you pay full price? and what is a "de-icer" could use that here in Ohio!

they send it to a 3rd party, and yes you get heated seats. the de-icer is a heated front windshield Wink

RE: New around here...
The de-icer only heats the bottom part of the windshield where the wipers are in the "rest" position. It will not de-ice the entire windshield.

RE: New around here...
I also couldn't find leather but custom leather was about $300 to $400 more than the factory $1000 option. All the cars I have owned have always been cloth so I was looking hard and waited 3 to 4 months for leather... never found it. I went with the black sport cloth and glad I did. My buddy has leather in his and cloth just feels more comfortable and quieter inside. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the leather and having to treat the leather with cleaners and sprays and protection... geez... and it all evaporates up onto the inside wind sheild leaving a film that builds up in time. I was impressed with the cloth front & rear seats and door trim after owning it for a couple weeks.

I also saw 2 Koups at dealers that had nasty looking flaws in the rear seat leather, looked like where they damanged the leather when the wacked the cow.

But I think I would prefer leather if this was a high dollar sports car, then the price of factor or custom leather shouldn't matter as long as it was as nice as the car.

RE: New around here...
I was thinking leather only for the "cleaning" ability. Four kids tend to make a mess. But for the most part they ride in the mini-van. Fellow ohioian huh?? I don't see to many of these driving these parts

Welcome to the site! I like the leather in my SX Koup. Sure, I have had nicer cars with better leather, but really, it's not horrible quality.

RE: New around here...
Don't switch to leather, I hate leather, it gets so hot in the summer and even with heated seats it is cold when you first sit down in the winter.
