Hey there, I have a KIA Forte 2012 EX. Would like to modify the chime, is that possible?

I have a check engine light popping up P200A for VCM Actuator/intake manifold runner. I recent took my car to the dealer for inspection, they confirmed that it is the vcm that is bad. They informed me they do not cover anything under warranty unless purchased car was purchased there. My question...
