Okay,
so im posting this for a friend. he has a 2011 kia forte koup. yesterday we hooked up an sub and amp. ran his ground and power wire like normally would and his remote turn on he tapped into what he thinks is the climate control. Everything seemed fine until he started the car. EVERY light on his dashboard is on and the car wont shift. He took his center console apart and can get the car to shift but when driving it wont go past first gear!
DOES ANYONE know how to clear the issue up without having to take it to the dealership. he lives 100 miles plus from the nearest dealership so and because he was modifying the car he would get stuck with the bill. ANYONE?
