Help! I just awoke my Koup from it's 3 month winter slumber to unleash an UNBEARABLE smell !!!!!!! How wonderful right? It's coming through the vents. Assuming a mouse nest I suppose. Anyone know what to dissect to reach a likely nesting place for some cute & deceased fuzzies?

I want to whip my Koup but can't stand to enter the car right now.
Help !!!

Thanks.

I'm trying to visualize where they could have gotten to your interior...have you looked for a noticable entry point -- chewed out area under the hood maybe? I'm afraid you'll need to take your car in and pay for someone to disassemble the dash (if you're sure it's not under a seat) to clean it out.

Good luck with this one...

The Koup is SO easy to access the cabin filter !!! Thanks Kia! Easy clean-out! no more smell :)

Just read Popular Mechanics and using mothballs or dryer sheets will keep rodents away when storing a car. Loosely wrap a few mothballs in aluminum foil and put one in the engine bay and another under the dash and any known place they have nested before. Dryer sheets can go in the same places. A few sheets in each place.

What's worse? The smell of rodents or mothballs?

I'll tell you what's worse...rats that eat mothballs AND create a nest under your hood...LoL!!!
