It looks like the 2010 kia forte koup will be released in NA in August 09 - this based off a July 9th press release from KIA NA.

I'm definately interested in getting the SX model. What I want to know however, is, would it be possible to convert this to a hybrid or PHEV and if so, how would this impact the waranty? I know, for instance, Kia in South Korea released a Forte Sedan with LPI hybrid tech. If I used the "same" battery in the "Koup" could this be possible? What options do I have, if any? I live in California which is very green-friendly.

no modifications or alterations, also you can't race it and acts of God and/or riots are not covered either  :'(

still i may get a new performance chip and eventually I want to put in a turbo.
