I was wondering what others thought about how there koup handles in the snow. We had a snow storm roll thru last night on my way home from work and it was first time driving in the snow with it. The traction controlled worked fairly well and my ABS kept trying to kick in when I barley touch my brakes which was very annoying. It handle's the snow ok on the hiway and backroads with some sliding which is nerve racking since I have only had the car a month and i dont wont to wreck or have some idiot slide into me so I'm ubber cautious right now. What have you experinced?

There was a user on here form northen Canada, I believe, who said it was one of the best cars he's ever driven in the snow.

I live in Texas so I don't have much in the way of experience with snow, but even with pouring down rain on the highway I've never had any troubles and I drive quite a bit between College and Home.

Hi,

I live in Quebec. Had my first winter with a Koup. Absolutely no problem! It wasn't the worst winter we had but felt safe and confortable in snow conditions!
My last car was an Acura RSX and was lower on the road... The fact that the Koup is better helps when the roads are snowy

We just got our first real snow about a week ago. This suspension has way too much bound and rebound. The car was fine, but not perfect. Its a bit like my EVO actually, very dodgey as it slips and and then grabs again. Its very impacted by changes in road texture. But, it does appear to that it can go through most anything anyone reasonable would need to.

My Koup did fine in about 4"s of snow...anymore and I think I would have been using it as snow plow. Best thing I found was to turn the traction control off. I lived around a bunch of hills and the traction control would kick in and bog the motor down and leaving me in a chance for sliding backwards!

I have the 6 spd manual if that makes any difference. The autos might be easier with the TTS and snow.

well, kenny, you won't have to worry about that anymore (hopefully) lol

20% chance of snow tonight in Lubbock...most likely flurries if it does anything.

Sellersburg, IN (where I just moved from) got about 4"s today!
