Update on my Kia Forte Koup

Just a quick update on my Forte Koup.  Still loving the car.  Have over 1300 km on it and only on my third tank of gas(just filled up).  Loving the gas mileage.   My only concern so far is the air/heat modes.  I have found that you can't keep an even temp in the car even when you have it on auto.  And two of the front vents don't close so there is always air blowing on you, even if you don't like it.  Otherwise things are great!!!  Thinking about winter tires because I live in Manitoba Canada and we get quite a bit of snow here come January.  My hubby thinks I will get around just fine, but we are still looking into it.  I was at my dealer the other day and they said that Kia is on strike......so the Koup's are gonna be a slow release.  So far Manitoba has only received 5 and I am the lucky owner of the first one here.  Yeah me!!

KoupMom: THIS SOUNDS LIKE A MINOR PROBLEM...

... that needs to be addressed by the dealer -- maybe when you get your first oil change (you're due). Just be sure to write everything down -- hopefully a short list -- so you don't have to remember any quirks that may be apparent.

I have the EX sedan, and I've yet to find anything needed to be fixed. I definitely don't have any interior temp mixing problems, however. Let me/us know how your dealer treats you when you return for your scheduled maintenance. Thanks, and good luck. Ray

Congratulations on being the first Kia Koup owner in Manitoba, Canada! As for the temperature problems, like RayThom said, have the dealer look into it. You shouldn't have to be uncomfortable..

And about the vents not closing - can you at least aim them away from you? And there's really no way to shut them down?
