I just bought an sx manual and Ive seen a lot of review on google and some say that manual tranny is weird at shifting and bad staged ??

I just tried the 2,0l 5speed and yes when I shifted the car firmly I can understand what they said but not THAT much...

Im affraid about that, or mabye its just by long terme u can use it at its maximum performance :)

can U clarify this to me ? :-/

ps" I dont have the car at this time !! I can't wait damn !! (changing my mazda 3 gt 2.3l 2008 for a KIA KOUP SX ) HEHE

yes, the car is safe, however, DONT abuse the tranny. no car's tranny is built to take severe abuse, and will wear prematurely if it is... ;)

The only issue ive noticed is hard shifting when cold...BUT the car is probably packed with ice and snow and im forcing it out of the linkages. (6-speed manual in the SX)

Same issue here...but that's to be expected. Once it's warm, it shifts great.

Still not a fan of how unresponsive the gas pedal is when trying to take off smooth and slow or how quickly it likes to stall when coasting in 2nd gear through parking lots. In every car I've ever owned that had a manual trans, you could get going, shift to 2nd and release the clutch and gas and coast all day long. It will do this in 3rd...at about 25 mph! Not good for traffic or crowded parking lots.
