Forum Software - Upgrade?

Shall we move on to Xen Foro or stick with what we're already using?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to take a moment to gauge your interest in whether or not we should move to a more robust forum experience - or keep the simplicity offered with our current software.

The software I'm strongly considering is Xen Foro. You can see a very popular forum running this software here.

If you'd like to vote and/or share your input on how we can improve the experience here for you, we'd greatly appreciate it.

To the members that voted....lets see you do some posting. The site NEEDS your help getting back going. You are the forum.

Sal.........with the new software I hope we have a choice to de-activate accounts right next to banning accounts. Having the option to suspend accounts in the same window would be another good thing to have.

Suspend
De-activate
Ban
all in the same window so you or the mods would not have to search for each option.
Not sure if the software your looking at has a phone app, but I see that as a high priority with everyone doing more and more via their phones.
 
Yes, the new software comes standard with a mobile version and makes banning/suspending easier. It's VERY good software. I just wish we had some more activity. Maybe the new software will help.
 
I'll be posting a link on a few forums in hope some of those users will come over here. I hope it helps a little at least.............
 
Only on sites that are friendly towards the growth of all KIA, Forte, and or all automotive websites.
 
I like it just the way it is. BUT, since I don't own a KIA, I shouldn't even voice my opinion, I"m sure.
 
Rube you've posted more on this site in the last 30 days than 99% of members with a KIA. You a right to an opinion as any other user.
 
Thanks, Rj. But, I'm old school. If I don't see a problem with an working system, then I don't see the need for a change.

The problem with this system is it can not keep any of the spammers out. New software has better filters
