Hi! Just wanted to post a message about using my Koup SX in very cold conditions.
When I got in my car this morning, the temperature was -30 Celsius (that's -22 F for you guys down south
). The car started right away and it warmed up pretty quickly too.
In fact it did better than my old 2006 Civic used to. In the Civic, if you didn't let the car warm up completely and you put the heater to the max in extreme cold, the engine temperature would drop to almost zero after a few minutes and you would only get cold air form the heater. Not so in the Koup.
The suspension was really stiff for a while, but that's to be expected. I have the auto transmission and it performed well. Naturally, I drove slowly for the first kilometers so everything had a chance to warm up.
So there you have it. No need to go to Alaska to see I your car would perform anymore
