Hanging Toggle Switch?

Today I noticed a toggle switch hanging over the foot rest peddle. Anyone know what this is for? It clearly has a ON and OFF label on it (currently on). Any info would be appreciated.=]

Do you have an alarm system installed? I would guess valet switch for alarm or master kill switch maybe??? Turn it off and try to start your car.

EDIT: nevermind, its an SX, i can tell from the footrest...

I turned it off and was still able to start my car. After turning my car off I also still had my alarm button on the dash lit. It doesn't control the speaker lights. It's spliced into a bundle of wires directly behind the speaker light switch. I guess I can call my dealer and see if they have an answer.

I know in my old honda accord that switch activated a valet mode. I would hide it somewhere it wont get kicked around, because on my honda the switch became unsoldered and i couldnt start my car. all i got was a slient alarm going off(Interior and exterior light flashing for a minute) so finally i figured out what had happened and had to play with the switch a little to finally start my car. so just a little warning

good thing i cant get one of those... id step on it and break it, therefore not being able to use it lol
