I want the SX in spicy red, but the way Kia doe's there model colors i don't think i can get one ,in that color so i will have to get the race red or blue.....Kinda stupid how Kia does it...You should be able to order any color they have from the factory.. :-[
 
That's strange. Did they give you a reason why you couldn't get the color you wanted?
 
OOps, Sorry what i meant was on the official Kia site where you can build your Koup the SX modle is not availible in spicy red only the ex showes spicy e-mailed Kia but no responce yet...
 
Oh, okay.. Hmm.. If enough people ask for it, they'll probably make it available - just not this year, unfortunately...
 
i liked the spicy red kolor over the racing red also, more burgandy in it. i am disappointed that the red shown on the koncept isn't available. talk about standing out, it was vibrant, while we're at it i would give em another 5 grand or so to get that 290 hp motor in it as well. or even the 210 hp turbo 4 that the hyundai genesis sports would've been nice. but after a performance chip and an aftermarket turbo that 2.4 should perform just fine  :D

edit: i'm liking that copperhead, thinking of a tribalistic tiger decal to add on, should look very slick... when i get it finished i'll post some pics.

I picked up my Koup SX basically right of the fricken boat. always had black cars, but black doesn't show off the lines on the koup. got the orange instead..... think it's actually called sweet orange. Do you have leather standard on your SX's in the states? I couldn't get over the options standard on the SX's in Canada. tryin to get pics on here.

Oh no don't say that! I just got mine in black!!! lol

I just got the EX in black. Black is always a sweet color. My second choice was red, which is very nice. I was just scared of not liking in a couple years.......

But ya. HOPEFULLY, I should pick it up Friday (today is Tuesday). I'm lucky, because I got the only one left in Quebec (without having to wait 3-6 weeks for the new shipments)

where in Quebec? I'm in Gatineau myself. when i went back to talk with the dealership, they said that sales were good but Kia hadn't sent enough over initially. should get a Koup club going. I'm tired of all the Civic's in the area. :)
 
Passed by my Kia dealer today and oboy Koup on the lot. It was a blue EX 2.0 took a short test. Drove very well good power and pick up. Now for those that need to know, i am 6'1 318 Lbs OK FAT but i fit with ease in the seat plenty of leg room hip room and head room. The seat back, side bolster was just a little tight but not uncomfortable to sit in ,all in all very nice ride....
 
Got an update:idea: from Avondale Kia (AZ) , apparently Kia was on strike:@ , that would explain the slow coming of the Koup SX and now Kia has to catchup , with the increasing demand of this hot little number no wonder we don't have any around
 
oh, that sucks... she doesn't work for GM does she?

really though that does stink, sorry.
 
The SX builder on KIA's website doesnt have an option to pick leather, either.

Mine's an SX in leather
