This might be more of an iPhone question then Forte question but I thought maybe someone else would have ran into this and figured out what it is. I am currently only using an AUX cable for my iPhone and when I plug it in a new "button" appears on my screen for my iPod beside the "track forward button". It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up. If I click it and choose "headphones" my music plays fine out of the speakers but if I choose "forte" nothing happens. What is this "button" and what does the "forte" option do?

Do you have the phone's Bluetooth turned on?

I believe that icon is for the air play feature enabled in the newer iOS'. If you have the bluetoothe enabled in the car and synced, you should be able to play your music wirelessly to your car radio.

I haven't tested this yet, so let us know if you do.

I use the factory ipod cable so I can listen to music while charging my phone. :read:

Thanks for the info everyone. I do have bluetooth turned on so maybe i'll try playing with it and update you with how it goes. I do however plan on purchasing the cable so I can use the ipod through the radio controls.

Thanks Again.

my brother has BT media stream in his Escape. liked it at first, but says it gets annoying after awhile. likes the radio control ;)
