Service action on SX suspension and answer to knocking noise while idle

There is a service action in America on the SX for "TD strut noise repair" This is the creeking or clacking noise that some get over bumps and such.

Can you explain creaking and cracking? I know when I go over bumps I get some kind of creaking from the passenger seat. Is that it?

no i was there today, and he was looking for any recalls for the EX/LX, and said that was in the suspension
