Spare Tire Cover / Jack Holder?

(This kind of starting in my "Cargo Nets?" question but figured different topic so should break off)

Is everyone's jack holder too big for the tire? It doesn't fit level and holds up the thin cover (truck floor).

If fits internal to the tire so doesn't seem to be inflation related. There is an arrow on it but spinning it around doesn't seem to help the fit.

This issue is really the only reason I want the cargo tray. Does it fix it for sure?

(I know I'm being picky but I love the car so trying to make it perfect. After waiting for Cooperhead EX with leather I'm not going to not spend a couple bucks for something like this)

Yes. The syrofoam thing the tools are held in isn't a perfect fit for the wheel though. It sits up a bit too high and is off balanced. That makes the carpeted cover sit uneven.

all that have this problem are you from Canada? Maybe its a different size spare for Canadians? or different Styrofoam piece?

Mine is US and has the same problem.

Kia says they don't have a Cargo Tray for the Koup yet.

While on the phone guy said "you want that to protect your carpet" and I said no I want it to fix how cheap and uneven the carpet piece looks - ie its basically a piece of cardboard that doesn't lie flat. He (of course) said it should be flat and maybe the spare is upside down or one of the pieces is off a 4-door. I'm going to look at flipping the spare and if not I'll have them look at all the parts when I get my cargo net hooks.
